#1 Baby Aaron
Aaron Murray was born with Holoprosencephaly, which is a rare disease that causes your brain to stop developing while in the womb. Doctors told his mother to prepare for his death shortly after he was born.
#2 Compatible With Life
Doctors studied his x-rays and determined the brain had not developed to a stage where he could function and be "compatible with life." The entire hollow area in his head was filled with nothing but fluids.
#3 His 2nd Birthday
On his second birthday he gave his mother a gift...when he shockingly said "mommy." Aaron is proof that everyone experiences love and wishes to express it, no matter how your brain functions.
#4 He Fought
But Aaron was fighting for his life each day, surpassing doctors predictions. His mother and family never lost faith that he would survive.
#5 Sibling Love
His older brother stays beside his little brother through out the day, taking on a protector role. Aaron began clapping and and giggling like any other toddler.
