Tim says, he realized the girl who had treated them to breakfast was herself in need of help. He soon reached out to his friends, “Turns out, the young lady who gave us a free meal is really the one that could use the help…” he wrote online.

 

#2 Waitress Leaves The Firefighters a Special Note

To their surprise Liz Woodward who served their meal wrote them a touching message on their bill saying the breakfast tab was on her, she also expressed how grateful she was for firefighters like them.

When Tim got home, he commented about Liz on his social media: “Such a selfless and kind act. I definitely urge my friends to make a trip out and support the business, and if Liz happens to be your waitress, tip big.”

Suddenly after Tim's post on Facebook, Liz's family received $70,000 in donations, which was way over than the $17,000 her donation page was seeking! She commented, ”All I did was pay for their breakfast. I didn’t expect anything more than a smile. . . .
