Charlotte Svilicic and her pet doberman Khan were outside playing like usual, but mother Catherine noticed the dog was playing rougher than usual. Khan began to nudge and growl at Charlotte...
#2 He Throws Her!
Khan suddenly bit into Charlotte's diaper and tossed her a few feet behind him, shocking her mother - but It turns out there was a king brown snake nearby. "Khan recognized the threat and acted quickly to move the little girl out of harms way. Catherine told our source: “I realized quickly it was a snake and Khan had been trying to get in between her and the snake before he threw her.”
#3 Sick Dog!
The startled snake bit into Khan's paw, quickly spreading it's venom into his body. Catherine rushed him to the hospital after he collapsed inside their home.
#4 Dogs Are The Best
It turns out Khan was adopted by the family only four days before the snake attack - but he already felt the love and need to protect his new family. He survived the venom and is back to playing with his sister Charlotte!
