#1 Extracting it
This is what the massive cyst looked like after Dr. Lee was able to reach it using a scalpel. Dr. Lee is often surprised with the size of the cysts once they come out: ‘It’s a cyst, I do believe. Oh my goodness, they’re always bigger than they look.’
#2 The lipoma
This is what it looked like when Dr. Lee was able to reach the tumor after making an incision on Melody's arm.
#3 Dr. Pimple popper
Dr. Sandra Lee, who is also known as Dr. Pimple popper, recently came up with the "Pimple Popping Awards" on her CBS show. These are some of the best cases from that episode.
#4 Melody and her lipoma
Melody is a patient who had a five-year-old lipoma (non-cancerous fatty tissue tumor) on her arm.
#5 Kristi's thigh cyst
This large cyst had been growing on Kristi's thigh for more than 2 decades! It started growing faster during the last 10 years.
#6 Cutting it open
This is what it looked like once Dr. Lee was able to reach the core. Dr. Lee explained the contents of the cyst: ‘Some of it is liquefied, but some of it is still solid. That’s all skin – macerated skin.’
#7 Desiree's scalp cyst
The second nominee was this pilar cyst. It had been growing on Desiree's scalp for over 20 years after she hit her head when she was young!
